Nifty futures Jan.-08 were at 2937.55, at a premium of 15.35 points as compared to the spot closing of 2922.20. Turnover in NSE's futures & options segment surged to Rs 33,326.10 crore, from Rs 24,153.90 crore on Friday, 26 Dec. 2008. State Bank of India (SBI) Jan. 2009 futures were at premium at 1278.20 compared to the spot closing of 1271.80. DLF Jan. 2009 futures were at premium at 276.95 compared to the spot closing of 276.35. ICICI Bank Jan. 2009 futures were at discount at 444 compared to the spot closing of 445. In the cash market, the S&P CNX Nifty gained 64.95 points or 2.27% at 2922.20.
